Beach Ball Girl

It's been a while. I've been doing plenty of work I just haven't been able to show any of it just yet. Here's a sketch I did the other day during lunch. It's a little more stylized than my usual drawings. I hope to spend a little more time on it in the future and add some kind of subtle background element.

Conehead Baby

Here's a sculpture I did a little over a year ago. I thought it would be funny to sculpt Beldar as a baby. I made a resin casting of it, painted it and posted it on Ebay just to see if it would sell. The winning bidder was the mother of Michelle Burke who played the daughter of Beldar in the Conehead movie. Apparently she collects all things conehead.

Here's another drawing jam sketch. The topic was to draw something from a font. I thought this guy looked like a Cooper.

I finally gave in and decided to give this blog posting thing a go. So here’s my first post. This is a sketch I did for a drawing jam a few of us do daily. The topic was to design a playing card.
