I'm finally getting around to redesigning my website. Here is the first part of that process. This is one of many rotating banners that I'll have at the top of my page. I really liked the sketch I did of this mermaid about a year or two ago and thought this would be the perfect place to use it.

Had a bit of inspiration last minute. I was a bit disappointed I never got a chance to do a Christmas card this year so I thought I'd make a few changes to my moose picture. I wasn't totally happy with how dull it ended up looking on the blog either. Hopefully this one will be brighter after upload.... looks good on my screen. Anyway, Merry Christmas a King is born!

I haven't done many paintings like this solely in photoshop. My work usually consists of linework. It was a real learning experience but a ton of fun. I hope to do more soon and try and tackle some portrait type paintings.

It's been a while. I've been doing plenty of work I just haven't been able to show any of it just yet. Here's a sketch I did the other day during lunch. It's a little more stylized than my usual drawings. I hope to spend a little more time on it in the future and add some kind of subtle background element.

Conehead Baby

Here's a sculpture I did a little over a year ago. I thought it would be funny to sculpt Beldar as a baby. I made a resin casting of it, painted it and posted it on Ebay just to see if it would sell. The winning bidder was the mother of Michelle Burke who played the daughter of Beldar in the Conehead movie. Apparently she collects all things conehead.
